Joe Rabil started Rabil Stock Research in 2005. He works closely with institutional money managers to help them identify changes in market, sector, and individual stock trends. He has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to some of the best performing money managers on Wall Street by successfully identifying portfolio holdings that are technically improving or deteriorating. Joe is a recognized expert on Trend, Trend Momentum, and Multiple Time Frame Analysis.
In addition, Joe provides highlights of stocks with strong technical characteristics from the Russell 1000 as well as bottom-up reviews of each sector throughout the month. He delivers a number of reports and video commentary during the month via email as well as his website www.rabilstockresearch.com.
Prior to 2005, Mr. Rabil worked with the research firm Di Biasio and Edgington for 15 years. For D&E, Joe helped to develop a state-of-the-art technical charting software and provided customized research for money managers much in the same way he does at Rabil Stock Research.
Joe received a degree in Finance from Georgetown in 1987. In 1988, as a retail stockbroker, Joe realized the need to supplement fundamental research with additional timing tools and began mastering technical analysis. Joe is an avid student of technical analysis and credits industry legends such as W.D. Gann, Richard Wyckoff, Marty Zweig, Vic Sperandeo, and Linda Raschke with shaping his views on technical analysis.
