 Steven Miller is the Managing Director of S&P Capital IQ’s Leveraged Commentary & Data (LCD) team, the authoritative source of leveraged-finance news and information. He has been involved in developing credit market information products since 1990 when he joined Loan Pricing Corporation (LPC) as a reporter. At LPC, Steven was instrumental in the creation of the Gold Sheets, the Goldman Sachs/LPC Loan Index and early efforts to collect and publish secondary loan prices. After leaving LPC in 1995, Steven worked at Bankers Trust. Then, in 1996, he co-founded LCD’s predecessor, Portfolio Management Data LLC, an entrepreneurial venture that pioneered statistical analysis for the leveraged loan market. Since the acquisition, Steven has continued to lead the LCD team at S&P Capital IQ and write commentary for LCD various publications, as well as outside journals. Steven attended New York University where he majored in economics.
