The Honorable J. Alfred Broaddus, Jr. President, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Dr. Broaddus took office January 1, 1993, as the sixth chief executive of the Fifth District Federal Reserve Bank, at Richmond. Dr. Broaddus is currently serving a full term that began March 1, 2001. Dr. Broaddus is a member of the American Economic Association and the National Association of Business Economists.

The Honorable Mark W. Olson, Member. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Before becoming a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Mr. Olson served as Staff Director of the Securities Subcommittee of the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, U.S. Senate (2000-2001). The Securities Subcommittee’s legislative jurisdiction included the Securities and Exchange Commission, accounting policy issues, and the insurance industry. During Mr. Olson’s tenure, the subcommittee held oversight hearings on implientation of key sections of the Gram-Leach-Bliley Act.
